Zwigato Day 3 Box Office Collection
Zwigato, Kapil Sharma’s third film, may have received glowing reviews. But the film began on a somber note. Directed by Nandita Das, the film has attracted specialized audiences. In its opening weekend, the film did not even gross a billion. The life of Kapil, a food delivery man, and his family is the focus of the slice-of-life drama Zwigato.

Taran Adarsh spoke about the first day box office results and shared that the film grossed only 42 lakhs on Friday.
Kapil Sharma’s lowest opening day film is Zwigato. Abbas-Mustan’s comedy drama Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon marked the comedian’s debut in Bollywood. Although the 2015 film received mixed reviews from critics, it grossed 8.60 rupees on its opening day. Kapil made his debut as a producer two years later with his second film, Firangi. The 2017 film flopped in the box office, but still managed to gross 1.85 million rupees on its first day of the season.
KRK, also known as Kamaal Rashid Khan, a self-proclaimed critic, poked fun at Kapil Sharma and Zwigato, claiming that 90% of his shows were canceled on the first day because there was no audience. “The film #SharamKaro starring Kapil Sharma has an earth shattering 1-3% audience rating,” KRK tweeted early Friday morning. 90% of the screenings had to be canceled due to lack of audience. The film’s producers, who tried to turn a prankster into a star, fully deserved it.
Before the film opens in theaters around the world today, Applause Entertainment Production will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022, its Asian premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2022, and its Indian premiere at the Kerala International Film Festival in December 2022.
